Casimir had an early attraction to fine arts. In 1961 he joined the Academie des Beaux Arts where he studied with his friend Ludovic Booz. He later left that school to work full time for "SNEM" (national Service for the Eradication of Malaria), then he opened his own barber shop, painting as a hobby. In 1974, he followed Ludovic Booz's advice to return to painting full time and painted mostly historical scenes before becoming a "miniaturist." Exhibits: 1976 Embassy of Italy, Haiti 1978 Champs de Mars Fair, Haiti 1979 Dominican Republic 1980 French Institute, Haiti
